Paintless Dent Repair on Quarter Panels Toyota Camry in Sacramento
We work with body shops too!
We got a call from the local service king today to fix a couple dents on the quarter panels of a Toyota Camry.
This is a very common dent that happens during a rear impact. For some reason, this always happens on Toyota Camrys so are very adept at fixing this damage.
Before Picture Of One Buckle
When a Camry gets hit in the rear bumper the quarter panels tend to buckle.
The actual frame of the vehicle can be slightly tweaked. When a body shop is repairing the bumpers the put the vehicle on a frame rack and straighten out the frame. That releases the tension on the quarter panels.
Releasing the tension on the quarter panels doesn’t automatically fix the dents, but it then makes it possible to perform the paintless dent repair. Performing paintless dent removal can become quite a project on these Toyota Camry.
In order to get the taillights out to get the good access to the back side of the dent, we need to take the bumper off. So what looks like small damage can end up being quite a project!
We removed the bumper, removed the taillights, and gained access to the back of each of these dents. We used various metal rods with big soft tips on them Dents like this can require a lot of tapping and blending as well.

We were very satisfied with the results and so was the body shop!
This repair for a body shop is very extensive. They have to paint both sides of the vehicle quarter panels and all the way down the side rails.
Using paintless dent repair saved time, money, and the factory paint on this vehicle. That is the value of paintless dent repair.
