The dent that we repaired on this Mazda CX-9 is a fairly common dent. This dent is caused by a car door swinging open and hitting the quarter panel of the customers vehicle. We have a lot of customers ask us here at Dentpro of Sacramento if we are able to repair dents located on a body line. The answer is an emphatic YES!
Dents located on body lines are definitely more difficult to repair, but we are able to make them perfect. This customer was a little skeptical on whether or not we could repair a dent located on this part of the vehicle.
We assured the customer that she was in good hands. We provide a satisfaction guarantee here at DentPro of Sacramento. If you’re not happy with the repair then you don’t pay!

There are several ways to perform paintless dent repair on a quarter panel.
- Access through the taillight. This is a bad option for this repair because the dent is far from the light and leverage would be difficult.
- Access from underneath the wheel well. This option would give a lot of leverage and would require pulling the wheel well liner.
- Access by removing the trim panel. The paneling on the inside of the vehicle. This may not give access and required a lot of removing and installing.
- Access by manufacturing an access hole inside the door jamb. This is the easiest choice and the cheapest option for the customer.
Our customer chose to have us drill a hole in the door jamb. They wanted to keep the price as inexpensive as possible as this vehicle is a daily driver. We plug the hole with a standard manufacturer like plug to keep it water tight and then we have great access and leverage.
